Findaway Adventures Fund #1 Fully Deployed
If you know me personally or follow my writing, you know I’m a stickler about “focus,” i.e., about focusing on what’s most important to your business.
Well, the time has come for Findaway Adventures to practice what we preach and focus on the six amazing companies in which we have invested with our first round of funding.
On the one hand, I am excited about this focus. Our goal for the foreseeable future is to help our investment companies reach their full potential and accomplish their goals. These companies include the wonderful Holmes Mouthwatering, Hustle Clean, Parks & Nash, Ora Organics, OK Capsule, and De Lune. Our work with these awesome companies includes funding but also our deep involvement in helping them scale and connecting them with the right resources they need to succeed.
On the other hand, our new focus also means we will not be accepting or entertaining more business development or diligence calls until a second round of funding is secured. While we are exploring potential paths to Fund #2, we are not certain on the timing of this initiative and therefore we will be “closed” to new opportunities until further notice.
In addition, we will no longer be supporting the Findaway Club outside of our current Mastermind group that meets bi-weekly.
We’ll sorely miss the opportunity to meet more amazing change-the-world founders, but the time has come to focus.
